It was a privilege to run to be your governor - thank you.
This year's election is about a change in direction. Maine people want a governor who is committed to change and knows how to achieve it. That's why I'm asking for your vote, and I promise that together we will change Maine and give it a brighter future.
Join me in focusing on common-sense solutions -- not slogans or soundbites -- and we'll make Maine the comeback state of the next decade.
Now that the parties have chosen their candidates, it's time for you to choose yours.
My grandfather walked from Bangor to Calais as an immigrant peddler to build a future for his family. Please join me in building on his legacy and the legacies of many other hard-working Maine people just like him to create jobs and opportunities for future Maine generations.
We need to focus on which candidate has a plan to make real changes in Maine. If we do that, we can be the comeback state of the next decade.
This year Maine people agree that only one candidate for governor — Eliot Cutler — has the skills, vision and detailed plans to be Maine's next governor.

Thank you for your confidence and support during the 2010 campaign. Now, I've shifted my energy to a new political organization called OneMaine.
OneMaine supports candidates for public office irrespective of political labels — all we ask is that they are committed to working across the aisle and across the state to find real, pragmatic solutions to Maine's challenges.
OneMaine provides a rallying point for political moderates. We are not a new political party, but rather a big tent in which centrists of all stripes — Democrats, Republicans, Greens and unenrolled, independent voters — can gather, share ideas and work together to move Maine forward.
