INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR ELIOT CUTLER TO CAMPAIGN IN AROOSTOOK COUNTY
PORTLAND, Maine – Independent candidate for Governor Eliot Cutler returns to Aroostook County today for two days of campaigning. Making stops in Houlton, Caribou and Presque Isle, Cutler will visit with area farmers, business and community leaders and attend the annual meeting of the Maine Potato Board.
“The County is a unique and important part of our state. If we are going to increase jobs and incomes in Maine we are going to have to put more focus on our competitive advantages – our natural resources, our strategic location and our hard working people. That’s what Aroostook County is all about,” said Cutler.
Cutler was born and raised in Bangor, and now lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife, Melanie.
