I support the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, and I respect Maine’s longstanding tradition of responsible gun ownership and use. I also support the current law requiring background checks on firearms purchases from licensed dealers.

Mr. Cutler, I was wondering what your thoughts were on the growing gang problem in Maine, and would love to sit down and discuss a plan that a friend and I developed for our economics class presentation. My goal in doing this is to get our plan signed into state and/or federal law. If you ever get the chance to reply or have a sit down with us, I would love to hear your thoughts on this issue.
